Been going here since it opened like years ago maybe more, went today to grab a few things then waited in the long kiosk queue to be asked for I.D for cigarettes I'm in like weeks!! I didn't have I.D on me cause it's my local Asda I've never been asked for I.D so what is this member of staff's problem?? The young girl next to her doesn't ever I.D me so who's not doing there job right?? I might not look but I certainly don't look or even if they claiming challenge . Manager had the chance to let common sense save the day but instead backed up his employee to save face. , run my own business I'm a father but I can't buy cigarettes in my local Asda that I've been getting them from since I was is laughable you've lost a customer well done, what you should be doing is pulling those daftys into a office and disciplinary action taking for having no common sense and more interested in saving face and while your at it send her and the manager up to the opticians bit to get there eyes checked. Btw don't buy anything from the bakery bit I picked up a pack of donuts about a year ago and there was insects jumping about inside checked a few more and it was the same told the woman at the bakery and she looked shocked then that section was closed off for days for cleaning anyone who remembers it being closed off that's why. I've raised a complaint with customer services if you make this right I will remove the review if not I think I can actually find a picture my friend took at the time when it was closed off just for proof and to lose you even more money.Updated found a picture my friend took days after I noticed all the insects jumping about the doughnuts. Was no longer closed off but as you can see they have filled the shelves again but are still cleaning it! Stay away from Asda Toryglen bakery!!

Used the Asda toyou service on th Dec - parcel has since been missing. Absolutely no one in Asda can help. I’ve been sent by their phone service all over the world to get some answers. Absolutely hopeless. The customer service staff in store also need some work with their customer service skills to be honest.Next step is consumer advice. I also noticed on trust pilot that I’m not the only one. Avoid this service is definitely my advice.

Been using this store for delivery for years- I'm switching to another supermarket now. Both delivery and in store staff are decent folk, this stinks of mismanagement from high up in ASDA- meat/fish is often arriving off before the use by date (I suspect the freezers are not up to the job), the website is a bit janky, they've recently absolutely GUTTED all the meat and deli deals so it's slowly getting more and more expensive to shop there. Final straw was an absolutely rancid steak that went off days before the 'use by'- I was refused a refund.
